About this riad
Riad Yima is the family home of contemporary artist Hassan Hajjaj, who turned the upper floors into a six-bedroom guest house and kept the ground floor as a working gallery and tea room. The riad's interiors play with the artist's signature pop-Moroccan visual language — patterned tiles, vintage signage, recycled crates as furniture. The courtyard is centered on three orange trees and a small fountain. Hassan's daughter Lola runs day-to-day operations and is your most likely contact.

"It is more like staying in an artist's home than a hotel. The breakfast on the rooftop is the best meal we had in Morocco."
"Lola knows every guide, every restaurant, every shortcut. She rebuilt our whole itinerary on day one and it was the best decision of the trip."
